Got my order last night! w00t! Well... most of it. Apparently T3 ran out of the Traction Brackets and Tri-Bar add ons. So, I'm waiting on those. But I received the coilovers, camber plates (with upper hats), rear 4 links, and the tow hook.
Due to miscommunication, the coilovers came with the AGX shocks instead of the Tokico Illuminas. But after doing some research, I think the AGXs are the way to go. From what I can tell, the Illuminas are really soft. The maximum stiffness setting on the Illuminas is about only half of the AGX's. So, we'll see.
The spring rates are 7kg fronts and 5.7kg rears.
The down side is that I HAVE NO TIME TO INSTALL ANY OF IT!! =(

Ok, I finally got some more work done on the interior of the car. This time I started working in the hatch area. I found a few spots of rust that have me a little concerned. They seem to be only surface rust, but I want to get that stuff taken care of right away. The only problem is all that tar insulation crap that's all over the place. I'll need to remove some of that to make sure I get rid of whatever rust is there.
Oh well, it seems that progress IS being made, so I can't complain too much. |

*sigh* The T3 shipment still hasn't come. Which I guess is a good thing since the weather's been too crappy to work on the car. Which means I haven't finished the interior yet either. The weather is a bit nicer today, so maybe I can get some more cleaning done to the interior and prep it for paint.

Yesterday I got my new doorpanels! w00t! They need a few touchups, but they're WAY better than what I have. Besides, they have the hard pocket and that cool carbon fiber-look pattern on the inserts. I'll post pics soon.
Still no carpet kit. I'm lazy. hehe... |
