| Well, I'm probably going to go back with the original Estoril Blue. Maybe even lighten it up a bit and go with this new Suzuki Aerio blue (dunno the name). In any case, I'm kinda disheartened by the whole thing. I think my deal with Altered Egos paint has fallen through. I don't know what I'm going to do now. |

I made a quick trip up to Placerville on Sunday. The car runs great, but the shop gave Tim the wrong catalytic converter, so it wasn't scrubbing any NOX at all. Apparently they gave him a 2-way converter in a 3-way box. And then we couldn't get the one we needed late on a Sunday, so I drove home without the car.
Since the ring and pinion are going out on my car, I also brought up the ring & pinion set from my old axle. Unfortunately, my 2nd GTS must have had an SR5 rear end on it - the R&P were a 3.90 gear ratio. So that was no good. Now I'm back to looking for a 4.30 set. I think there's a GTS in the junkyard, so I'm going to go check that out.
I also took the Panasports up there to put back on the AE86. I figured that I would need them to bring the car back since I refuse to put new tires on those raggedy ones it has on there now. =) |
